For this image I used my own ideas and creativity to edit it. Although the changes I made to my image are very subtle, I feel like it adds a very strong tone to my image. I also changed the contrast on my picture so that the dark parts were more harsh and the water is more vibrant.
If you would like to achieve this look follow these steps:
Step One: Bring your photo into Photoshop
Step Two: Duplicate your layer by pressing ctrl + J (Or if on a Mac use Cmd + J) then hide the original image layer by clicking the eye icon beside the layer.
Step Three: On the image copy layer use the patch tool to outline the person or object that you would like to add this effect to, then simply drag the selected area to an empty space. This will make the selected object disappear.
Step Four: Make the original layer visible by clicking the square beside the layer to make the eye icon re appear.
Step Five: Use the eraser tool to erase half of your subject.
Step Six: Lastly select a one of the following brushes, match the colour to your original object, and then use the brush to create a pixelating effect.
